Die-Cast Moulding

Zama (better known by its Trade Mark, Zamak) is an alloy composed of zinc and aluminium. The fusion cycle of the metal is faster than other alloys used in die-casting. The hot moulding of Zamak is used to obtain precise details, a resistant finished product and constant quality, all combined with low production costs. Zamak is an easy metal to work on and can be employed in many different sectors, such as:
• the automotive sector
• hydraulics and pneumatics
• construction
OMG owns several Frech hot chambers (weighing 5 to 20 tonnes) with a computer control panel which sets all the production criteria and allows for a high level of product consistency in relation to the technical specifications requested by the customer.
